Rui Guohua Studio

Rui

Who am I?

Rui works with mineral color, ink, and xuan paper, translating classical guohua discipline into contemporary stillness. The studio practice moves between flower-and-bird studies, landscape memory, and commissioned pieces for private collectors.

Artist

Does art have any meaning?

Chinese painting begins before the brush touches paper. Breath, pause, pressure, and absence shape the final image as much as line. My work follows that discipline while leaving room for modern quiet.

Monochrome ink artwork of a figure beside a large bird and moonlit water.
